our story
about island splash tours
Island Splash Tours began with a simple dream: to share the beauty of the ocean through passion, education, and kindness. What started as a small vision has grown into something much more—a place where people from around the world come to connect with the ocean, create unforgettable memories, and leave with a deeper love and respect for it. Through guided snorkeling adventures in Oʻahu, we invite guests to experience Hawaiʻi’s marine life up close, swimming alongside Hawaiian green sea turtles and exploring the vibrant reef of Turtle Canyon just off the shores of Waikīkī. Every snorkel tour is a reminder of how truly special this place is.
Island Splash is about more than just snorkeling in Honolulu. It’s about inspiring a lasting connection to the ocean—one that stays with you long after your snorkel tour ends. From the beginning, our goal wasn’t simply to operate snorkeling tours in Waikīkī, but to create something that felt real and meaningful—rooted in friendship, respect for the ocean, and genuine human connection. Our mission is to inspire a deeper appreciation for the ocean through education, fun, and kindness, because we believe those values can change perspectives and foster care for Hawaiʻi’s reefs and wildlife. Every Oʻahu snorkel tour is led by a tight-knit crew who genuinely love what they do, and that energy is felt in every smile, every conversation, and every shared moment in the water.
The Island Splash journey began in 2023, and since then we’ve had the joy of welcoming guests from all over the world to snorkel in Waikīkī and Turtle Canyon. We’ve watched people light up at the sight of their first sea turtle, discovered hidden moments on the reef, and helped create experiences that spark real connection and awareness. For us, it has always been about more than snorkeling—it’s about building community, sharing aloha, and protecting what we love most. Join us in Honolulu and discover how your Oʻahu snorkel adventure can lead to something much bigger.
Our story
At Island Splash Tours, we believe that through education, connection, and unforgettable ocean experiences, we can inspire others to care for and protect our oceans. The ocean gives us so much, and now more than ever, it needs our help. Real change takes heart, action, and community, and we’re proud to be part of that movement here on Oahu through our Waikiki and Honolulu snorkel tours.
Island Splash Tours is a proud partner with Ocean Alliance Project. Their mission is to protect and preserve the marine biodiversity of Hawaii’s local reefs through community-led ecological monitoring and regenerative tourism. Through our Turtle Canyon snorkel tours, Hawaiian green sea turtles are photographed, tracked, and identified to support ongoing research and conservation efforts at our very own Turtle Canyon.
As a locally owned snorkeling company in Hawaii, we work to help keep our reefs clean and healthy while promoting responsible wildlife interactions and sustainable tourism across Oahu. We proudly support local organizations and charities that are making a lasting impact on Hawaii’s marine life, coral reefs, and coastal communities.
For us, it has always been about more than just snorkeling in Oahu. It’s about protecting what we love most and ensuring these reefs and marine ecosystems are preserved for future generations.
